Moscow, Russia: 02 April 2020 – Nexign (a part of ICS Holding), a leading Business Support System (BSS) and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions provider for communications service providers (CSPs), announced today that it has joined RUSSOFT – Russia’s largest coalition of globally oriented software companies. The association presently comprises more than 160 member organisations. As a new member of RUSSOFT, Nexign has also joined the Information Technology and Radio Electronics Cluster, which was created with the objective of implementing best practices in enterprises within the sector and increasing their competitiveness.

“In 1992, Nexign became the first developer of billing systems for communications service providers in Russia. For many years, our company has been at the forefront of the high-tech telecom solutions market. We achieved this leading role by continually refining and developing our products,” notes Igor Gorkov, CEO at Nexign. “The comprehensive nature and high degree of flexibility of Nexign’s product portfolio, which enable providers to extract maximum benefit from their investment in business support systems, ensures our solutions are competitive. Joining RUSSOFT will provide Nexign with access to analytical data and to additional opportunities for promotion in Russia and abroad, allowing us to expand our cooperation with other IT market players and lobby more powerfully for the interests of the company and the industry as a whole at a legislative level.”

Since launching its new corporate strategy in 2017, Nexign has expanded internationally with considerable success, strengthening its position in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. Nexign’s extensive experience in transforming billing systems for Tier 1 and Tier 2 providers, in addition to the functional capabilities of its product solutions, which enable customers to implement new projects using revolutionary technologies such as 5G, eSIM, IoT, and blockchain, mean that the company is able to compete with the world’s leading producers of software for telecoms.

Further confirmation of the current strategy’s success is Nexign’s recognition last year at the Russoft Awards 2019 (a ranking produced by RUSSOFT) in the category “Best Business Growth in 2018”. The RUSSOFT ranking, which is based on the results of annual industry research, recognises companies that have achieved top results and growth in exporting software and development services.
