Nexign Will Speak at the VI Russian Small and Medium Business Forum

On June 2, 2021, Igor Gorkov, CEO of Nexign, will attend the Russian Small and Medium Business Forum at the invitation of Banсa Intesa S.p.A. This event is a part of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). In 2021, sustainable development will become one of the main topics at the International Economic Forum and the Russian Small and Medium Business Forum. At the session called "Italian Experience: Small and Medium Business on the Way to a Circular Economy", participants will discuss the steps that need to be taken to change the classic production model and transition to a closed-loop economy.

Igor Gorkov will talk about the role of telecommunications in this process and how IT companies can assist operators with  transformation to make their business more efficient. Together with other experts, Igor Gorkov will discuss initiatives that support conscious consumption and sustainable development — for example, the use of the Internet of Things for energy conservation and environmental monitoring. Igor Gorkov will also speak about the risks and opportunities for introducing new technologies in the circular economy paradigm.

Guido De Vecchi, head of the Sanpaolo Innovation Center, will moderate the session. The Italian Ambassador to Russia Pasquale Terracciano will also speak at the event.
